Obituary

Milford - William 'Bill' Everett, 74, died unexpectedly on June 24, 2018, at his residence. He was born on October 26, 1943, a son of William G. and Pearl J. (Lewis) Everett. Bill enjoyed playing shuffleboard and golf, doing wood crafts, and his hot rod. He enjoyed taking family vacations when his children were young to Niagara Falls, Disney, and camping trips. When he was younger, he helped his uncle with his harness horses at the track. He worked many years at the Old Town mill and was a reserve police officer for the City of Old Town. He also served in the Maine Air National Guard. He was a member of the American Legion and the Knights of Columbus. He was very close with his mother and grandmother, and enjoyed time spent visiting with them. He is survived by his wife, Jean (Russell) Everett; his daughter, Lisa Coulombe of Marietta, GA; and his son, Ron Everett and his wife, Amy, of Athens, GA; six grandchildren, Adam Everett, Cody Coulombe, Kacy Coulombe, Karra Laughlin, and Brian Everett and Shawn Everett; as well as two great-grandchildren, Jeff Sims and Xander Coulombe. He was predeceased by his parents. A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 29, 2018, at St. Joseph Cemetery, Old Town.
