Wayne A. Jameson, 70, passed away unexpectedly April, 13, 2022. He was born in Old Town, December 26, 1951, the son of Lester and Anita (Paradis) Jameson.
Wayne leaves behind his son, David Wayne Jameson and his fiancée, Melissa Herbert; beloved granddaughters, Katelin and Karie Jameson; and his sister Donna Tremble and her husband David, and her son Scott Dupuis; as well as many cousins and extended family. He was predeceased by his parents, Lester and Anita Jameson.
Wayne graduated from the former Lewis Stairs High School in Old Town. He worked for the restaurant, The Pie Plate, for several years following graduation. At his father's suggestion, Wayne applied for a position at the Old Town Paper Mill- a job he held for 26 years until his retirement. Wayne was a devout member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
Wayne enjoyed hunting and fishing in the great outdoors. He loved riding his motorcycle, as well as 4-wheeling and snowmobiling. Wayne believed that family was the most important thing in life. He was a loving father to his son, David; a doting grandfather to his granddaughters; and a wonderful brother to his sister, Donna. Wayne would drop anything to give a helping hand to anyone, especially to his family.
Relatives and friends are invited to call 4-7pm, Monday, April 18, 2022 at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St. Old Town. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, 10 am, Tuesday, April 19 at Parish of the Resurrection, Holy Family Catholic Church, where a light luncheon will be held following the service. Interment will be announced at a later date.
