Old Town, Maine – Timothy Allan Trask, 70, passed away peacefully at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center on October 10th, 2025. He was born April 19th, 1955, son of Luther Trask and Joyce Trask (Stratton).
Tim is predeceased by his Father Luther Trask, and his Mother Joyce Trask. He is also predeceased by his brothers John Trask of New Smyrna Beach, FL; Byron Trask of Palm Coast, FL; and Bruce Trask of Eddington, ME.
Tim is survived by his son Jason Trask of West Palm Beach, FL; Sisters Connie Albanese and her partner Henry Viegas of Milford, ME; Betsy Brooks and her husband Ricky of Orono, ME; Tracy Thompson and her fiancé Matt Doak of Hampden, ME; brothers Skip Trask and wife Faith of Verona, NY, Eric Trask and wife Barbara of Milford, ME and Robert Trask of Albany, GA. Also surviving are his nieces Amanda Day and her husband Toby; Shannon Blake and husband Ken; Sarah DeCesere and husband Derek; Emily Herlihy and husband TJ; Amy Lacouture and husband David, Heidi Henderson; and Holly Henderson- Faiella. Tim is also survived by many other loving family members and the "Grand Babies"
As 1 of 10 siblings, Tim could always be found with his brothers and sisters either attending family gatherings, or out causing mischief with his brothers and other friends from the neighborhood. Tim started work for John T Cyr & Sons bus lines as a diesel mechanic while still in school. Tim's love of mechanical things continued as he moved on to work for Diamond International Paper Mill in Old Town.
Not to be one to stay inside, Tim would often be found doing anything to keep him outdoors. From hunting and fishing in Maine's great outdoors, to working on projects in the garage. Often involving his brother Bruce. Later in life, he and longtime friend Dale Henderson could often be found together. Whether it be driving along the coast, hunting at deer camp, or even braving the wilderness in Labrador, New Foundland. They could always be found on the search of beautiful fish and trophy wildlife.
Visiting hours will be Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 1:30pm-4:00pm at Birmingham Funeral Home in Old Town, Maine. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Maine Youth Fish and Game Association, PO Box 337 Stillwater Me 04489. Helping continue Tim's passion of Hunting and fishing in Maine's great outdoors.
