Sue L. Gleason Sue Lipps Gleason went to be with the Lord on April 10, 2020. She was born August 7, 1926 to Elbert and Sue Lipps of Aldie, VA. Sue was a graduate of James Madison College in 1948 with a degree in elementary education. She taught for many years in Virginia and Maine. In addition to her love of reading, Sue also enjoyed playing cards; from bridge with friends to Skip-bo with the grandchildren. Sue volunteered in many places including Eastern Maine Medical Center and the Ronald McDonald House where she accumulated 3000 hours of volunteer service. Sue was a strong supporter and member of the Stillwater Federated Church where she was involved with many activities. She was predeceased by Bob, her husband of 50 years. She is survived by three children; a daughter, Nancy and two sons, Richard and J. Edward, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren (and one on the way). A celebration of Sue's life will be held at a later date. The family sincerely wishes to thank all who added to the brightness of Sue's soul.
