Today, with heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved Rose, who was born on May 5, 1960.
Rose was one of those people you truly had to get to know. She loved meeting people and getting to know their stories, but she always had a unique twist to her personality that kept life interesting. She had a wonderful sense of humor, a love for adventure, and a way of leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met.
Rose loved life and embraced it fully. She enjoyed playing games on her computer, crafting, traveling to new places, being adventurous, sometimes getting into a little trouble, as they say, and a love for her Maine Black Bear hockey team. There wasn't a game she didn't miss. She lived life on her own terms and created memories wherever she went.
Family meant everything to Rose. She dearly loved her daughter, Shannon Rodgerson, her two grandsons Melvin and Michael Doucette, and her beloved fur baby, KC, who brought her endless joy.

She also leaves behind her brother, Dan Bowling, and sister-in-law, Nita Torrey, and two nephews "little" Dan Bowling, and Derek Bowling. While they didn't always see eye to eye, they loved each other in their own way, and that bond remained throughout the years. She also had many aunts, uncles and cousins that loved her dearly. She was predeceased by her mother, her great uncle who also was like a father to her, and his wife.
Rose leaves behind a lifetime of stories, laughter, and memories that will be treasured by all who knew and loved her. Though our hearts are broken today, we are grateful for the time we shared with her and the joy she brought into our lives.
There will be no formal services for Rose at this time.
