Milford – Richard "Dickie" LeGasse, 59, passed away unexpectedly at his home on March 5, 2023. Dickie was born on July 21, 1963, in Bangor, the son of Noel and Constance (Sanborn) LeGasse. Dickie attended Old Town High School and following school he joined the Army. The years following leaving the Army, he spent his time as a heavy equipment operator, as it's been told, he could run any piece of equipment he sat behind. As much as he was a hard worker, he found time for his passion in older vehicles, fixing and restoring old trucks. There weren't many times where you would catch Dickie without a smile on his face, especially if the love of his life Naomi Spencer was around. Dickie's kindness and infectious laugh will be missed by his soulmate, Naomi Spencer; sister, Amy Marie LeGasse; brother, James Carroll LeGasse; his uncle, Glenn Sanborn; his aunts, Cheryl (Bill) Damien and Jackie Cram. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Noel LeGasse. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
