Old Town - Ray J. Thibodeau, 85, husband of the late Rose (Ouellette) Thibodeau, passed away peacefully October 13, 2016, surrounded by loving family. Ray was born in Old Town, September 8, 1931, the son of Paul and Gladys Thibodeau. He owned a local Old Town plumbing business, Ray Thibodeau Plumbing and Heating, where he worked with his son Steve until the early 1990's. Ray was a family man that loved drives to the coast and visiting with his children. He is survived by four children - a daughter Cheryl Woodbury of Morrill, a son Steve Thibodeau and wife Dale of Bangor, a son Bruce Thibodeau and wife Lynn of Merrimack, New Hampshire, a daughter Saundra Binette and husband Chris of Bradley; seven grandchildren - James, Scott, Megan, Michelle, Lisa, Alyson and Christopher; and a brother Robert Thibodeau. Ray was predeceased by his wife Rose who passed away peacefully last year, a granddaughter Jill Woodbury, and eight brothers and sisters. A private graveside service for immediate family will be held on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 10 a.m., Lawndale Cemetery in Old Town.
