.ALTON - Paul E. "Uncle Paul" Malicky, 57, died unexpectedly December 27, 2015. He was born February 26, 1958 in Rahway, NJ A son of Richard and Charlotte (Rueter) Malicky. Paul grew up in New Jersey and attended the University of Maine, graduating with a bachelor's in Wildlife Management. Paul loved the outdoors. He was a registered Maine Guide for over 25 years and was an avid hunter, fisherman, and trapper. He could be found on his perch coyote hunting. He was a friend to everyone he met and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone. He married Evelyn "Lynn" Spencer on May 10, 1986. He was a member of the National Trappers Association, the National Rifle Association, and Sportsman Alliance of Maine. He is survived by his wife of almost 30 years Lynn Spencer Mailcky of Alton; daughter KC Malicky of Alton; mother Charlotte Malicky of Pleasant Mount, PA; brother "Papa" Joe Malicky and his wife Joyce of Pleasant Mount, PA; his in-laws George and Charlotte Spencer of Alton; nephews Scott, Shane and Wade Malicky, and great niece Piper Malicky; special friends Sean and Jenny McAuley of Alton and many other close friends. He was predeceased by his father Richard Malicky in 1983. Per Paul's request, there will be no formal funeral services. A celebration of life gathering will be held 1-3PM Saturday at the Birmingham Funeral Home 438 Main St Old Town.
