PENOBSCOT and OLD TOWN - Norma J. (Peterson) Dumont, 72, went home to be with her Lord April 18, 2012, at Penobscot Nursing Home. She was born Jan. 26, 1940, in Monticello, the daughter of Burns M. "Pete" and Margaret Peterson (Carr). Norma grew up traveling with her family on various highway construction projects. The family finally settled in Old Town, where Norma married, raised her family and attended church. Norma was predeceased by her father; and her daughter, Lisa E. Dumont-Colson. She is survived by her mother; her brother, Woodrow "Pete" Peterson; son, Carl Dumont; special daughter-in-law, Darcy Dumont; and granddaughter, Stephanie Colson. There will be a graveside committal service 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 25, at Lawndale Cemetery, Stillwater Avenue, Old Town.
