Michael Peter Scribner, also known as Scribby, of Kenduskeag, ME. Michael was born in Bangor, Maine on September 1, 1962 to Peter Henry Scribner and Jean M Scribner (Guay). Graduated in the class of 1980 from Orono High School and earned his Associate Degree in Business Management from Eastern Maine Vocational Technical Institute. He was a devoted sports fan and always followed the Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics, and Bruins. Michael played for his high school baseball team and in his adulthood played for decades in softball leagues.

He will be remembered for his dedication to family, his desire to make those he loves smile, and the stubborn toughness that allowed him to fight cancer not once but three times. He knew what was important in life, didn’t stay attached to clutter or materials, and the little moments mattered the most to him.

He is predeceased by his father Peter H Scribner, and his nephew Dustin A Nevells. He is survived by his daughter Stephanie M Scribner and her boyfriend Zachary Martin, his mother Jean Scribner, his two sisters Terry Nevells and Kimberly Buck, niece Nicole Bagley as well as his nephew and niece Bradley and Whitney Buck. He will be very missed by his close friends Sheri Cunningham and Sharon Leakos as well as his grand-dog Bardi and part-time dog-daughter, Kiki.
