Mary Eleanor LaBree

BRADLEY- Mary Eleanor LaBree, 77, died December 4, 2025 after a long illness. Born in Old Town, Maine June 7, 1948, Mary was the daughter of the late Henrietta (Lavoie) and Alfred Taylor.

Mary brought warmth and joy to the lives of all who knew her. Her ability to bring a smile to any face, and willingness to help those who needed it will be missed. Mary attended Old Town High School and D’Lor Beauty School. She worked for many years as a hairdresser in Old Town before finishing her career at the University of Maine.

Mary was a devoted wife, loving parent and cherished grandmother. She is survived by her husband Dennis “Dan” LaBree of Bradley; her two sons Clement LaBree of Bradley, and Chad LaBree and his wife Michelle of Bangor; her three granddaughters Emma LaBree of Brownville, Chloe LaBree and Grace LaBree of Glenburn; sisters Josephine Randall of Old Town, Jeanne Marquis of Old Town, Dolores Stone and her husband Don of Hudson, brother Jim Taylor of Wells; along with many special nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her parents, sister Estelle Levesque, brothers George and Steve Taylor.

Friends and family will visit 4-7PM Monday December 8, 2025 at Birmingham Funeral Home 438 Main Street Old Town. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10AM Tuesday at Parish of the Resurrection of the Lord, Holy Family Parish, 429 Main St Old Town. Immediately following the mass, all are invited to the Parish Hall for a light luncheon and continued fellowship. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church Building Fund. Spring burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Old Town.
