MaryAnn Doiron Old Town—MaryAnn Doiron, 81, died peacefully August 16, 2024 at her residence with family by her side. She was born June 25, 1943 in Old Town a daughter of Quinton and Phyllis (Stormann) Darling. MaryAnn will be fondly remembered for her beautiful smile, her wit and sense of humor, and her fun loving nature. She always enjoyed making new friends. She was a graduate of Old Town High School and resided in Maine the majority of her life but did reside in Massachusetts and out west for a time. She loved Tweety Bird. She is survived by four children who collectively refer to her as the best mother ever; Karen Doiron, Kevin Doiron, Gary Doiron and his wife Kathleen and CherylAnn Stierli; five grandchildren Marissa Marie Stierli, Christina Mae Stierli, Ryan A. Stierli, Kyle Doiron and Kelley Doiron; life long friend Sandra Way; sister-in-law Anna Marie Darling; her former husband and the father of her children Douglas Doiron, a special thank you to her niece Phyllis and her spouse Mary for their care and support, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by siblings Bobby, Stella, Wessie, and Bruce. At her request, there will be no formal services.
