OLD TOWN—Mark Carlisle Ryder, 61, died unexpectedly of a heart attack January 16, 2021. He was born Sept 15, 1959 at Fort Dix, NJ a son of Carlisle W. Jr., and Ruby P. (Burrill) Ryder.

Mark was a 1978 graduate of Old Town High School. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, four wheeling, and spending time upta camp. He was also known by the CB Handle “Big M” and drove dump truck for many years for Hughes Brothers.

He is survived by his mother Ruby Burrill Ryder of Holden; two children Rhonda Ryder of Bradley and Mark Allen Ryder and his girlfriend Sarah Murphy of Greenbush; one grandson Eric Matthew of Oregon; brother Brian Ryder and his wife Lisa of Holden; several nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Carlisle Ryder Jr and a daughter Jennifer Ryder.

Graveside services at Milford Cemetery will be announced in the spring.
