Malcolm L. Kidder
ALTON—Malcolm L. Kidder, 90, died September 21, 2025 at a Bangor hospital. He was born July 31, 1935 in Winter Harbor the only child of Donald L and Etta I (Torrey) Kidder.
Malcolm worked as a contractor building homes but really liked to do finish carpentry and build cabinetry. At one time, in addition to his woodshop, he operated a sawmill. He also worked doing maintenance for Eckland Estates as well as working at the Veazie Community School as both a bus driver and maintenance services.
Malcolm was a longtime active member of the Old Town United Baptist Church serving in many roles: Deacon, Trustee, Usher, and Youth Group.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Eve (Feero) Kidder and several extended family members. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his only child Warren and a "sister" Shirley Alexander.
