Lucinda Ernestine Breau

OLD TOWN—Lucinda E. Breau, 100, died peacefully May 2, 2025 at St. Joseph Hospital, Bangor. She was born December 23, 1924 in Old Town a daughter of Charles E. and Celia E. (Deschaine) Dow.

She was employed for many years as a legal secretary, Following retirement, she enjoyed playing golf with her husband and daughter when she could join them.

She is survived by daughter Kathryn Breau McPheters and her significant other James Smith of Etna; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Kenneth George Breau in 2012; and siblings Ann Bouchard, Gladys Strout, Luella Hicks, Lawrence Dow, Charles Dow, Arthur Dow and Herbert Dow.

Private burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Old Town. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bangor Humane Society www.bangorhumane.org
