Orono - Louise V. (Seymour) Johnston, 93, passed away, October 19, 2016, at an Orono healthcare facility. She was born in Old Town, June 27, 1923, the daughter of George J. and Mattie P. Seymour. Louise was a graduate of Old Town High School. She was a homemaker who spent many years raising three boys, and later, was a doting grandmother and great grandmother. Louise was very down to earth, enjoying simple things like walks in the woods, watching TV, and spending time with her family. Louise was predeceased by her parents, George and Mattie Seymour; brother, Edward; sister, Dorothy; and her former husband, Arthur. She is survived by her sons, Gary Arthur Johnston, Glenn Alan Johnston, and Craig Mark Johnston; grandchildren, Troy, Amy, Jason and Tiffany; great grandchildren, Kaylee, Mikala, Bryce, Colby and Kaylee; and a former daughter in law, Jane; as well as several nieces and nephews and their families. The family wishes to thank Lisa for her many kindnesses and support of Louise.
