Loretta M. Currier Old Town - Loretta M. Currier, 88, died peacefully October 22, 2012 at a Bangor health care facility. She was born May 15, 1924 in Old Town a daughter of William and Amelia (Gagnon) Durette. She was a gentle soul and enjoyed crossword puzzles, Bingo, scrabble and spending time with her family. She is survived by a special friend Marcia Lewis of Bangor, niece Kathaleen Duque and her partner Kathy Smith of Bradley; dear friend Rita Currier of Old Town; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Paul, and seven siblings. The family wishes to thank Maine Veterans Home, D Unit, for the wonderful and compassionate care given to Loretta during the last five years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10AM Friday at Parish of the Resurrection, Holy Family Church, 429 Main st Old Town. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
