Kathryn Jean(St Louis) Rivers Old Town—Kathryn Jean Rivers, 56, died peacefully on February 20, 2019 at her residence of natural causes. She was born June 7, 1962 in Bangor a daughter of Thomas and Eileen (Taylor) St. Louis. Kathy graduated from Old Town High school In 1980 and University of Maine at Machias in 1984. She was a member of Kappa Delta Phi national affiliates sorority ETA chapter. She made a lifetime of memories with her sorority sisters. They held a special place in her heart. Kathy was a long time employee at Old Town elementary school. She cared for each student as if they were her own. Kathy had a loving spirit. She was the life of any family gathering. She was an amazing cook and would prepare meals for all of her friends. Kathy also enjoyed summers at Parks Pond Campground surrounded by her "Parks Pond family". She is survived by her husband Archie Rivers; son Daniel Rivers and daughter Laura Rivers and her fiancé Reid Plimpton; sister Anne (St Louis) Mosher and her husband Dave; two special nephews Thomas and Andrew. She is also survived by Archie's children from a previous marriage, Ray Archie, Tammy, Terri, Michelle and Kit. Kathy is pre deceased by her mother and father Thomas and Eileen St Louis and also her grandparents Norman and Olive Taylor. A Celebration of her life gathering will be held 4-6PM Monday Feb 25, 2019 at Birmingham Funeral Home 438 Main St Old Town.
