Judith Ann “Judy” Sokoloski
Greenfield Township—Judith A. “Judy” Sokoloski , 78, died peacefully with family by her side on the early morning of March 10, 2023. She was born July 23, 1944 in Derby, Ct a daughter of John and (Rose) Reinzo.
Judy will be fondly remembered as a loving, witty and funny person who was kind hearted and generous. Her fashion sense and eye for style made her a true fashionista. She loved to shop. In her younger years she worked as a waitress and lock maker in CT and upon moving to Maine drove a school bus. She loved her family and enjoyed being a homemaker and cooking for them. Food was love to her and she shared it extensively.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years George Sokoloski Sr.; five children Rosalie Countryman, Vikky Pare and her husband James, Robert Sokoloski and his wife Jennifer, Adam Sokoloski, Alisha Lukas and her husband Jacob; 10 grandchildren Daniel Sutphin, Samantha Feero (Jimmy), Dustin Sutphin, Shane Countryman Jr., Gabriella Stormann (Nicholas), Isabella Pare, Blake Sokoloski, Dia Sokoloski, Kolby Lukas, and Elliott Lukas; 2 great grandchildren Logan Meservey and Kole Feero; siblings Julie Dunham, Louis Dunham and Giacomo Iovine; special niece Joanne Leavitt; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her son Georgie in 1998; her father John Reinzo, mother and step-father Rose Reinzo Pascucelli and Palmer Pascucelli, and brother John E. Reinzo Sr.
A celebration of life gathering will be held 2-5PM Sunday March 19, 2023 at Birmingham Funeral Home 438 Main St Old Town. Private burial will be at the Reinzo Family Burying Ground.
