Obituary

Joseph G Reinzo, Sr Greenfield Township-- Joseph G Reinzo, Sr., died peacefully March, 30, 2025 following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born November 23, 1965 in New Haven, Connecticut. Joe was a fierce fighter and had the strength and courage of a true warrior. He was predeceased by his father John Reinzo, Sr., grandmother Rose Pascucelli, Aunt Judith Sokoloski and Cousin Georgie Sokoloski. He is survived by his wife of 26 years Melissa A. Lavoie-Reinzo, his mother Joan Reinzo; his children Jenna, Raven (Nate), John (Lauren) Joseph Jr., and Sophia; grandchildren Jayden and Josephine who stole his heart; his siblings John and wife Ann, Joanne and husband Frank, Jacqueline, Jeanette and her husband Chuck, James and wife Misty; nieces and nephews Katie (Gary), Jennifer (Mike) , Andrew (Sarah), Samone, Charlene, Tiffany, CJ, Dominique, JP, Julia, Maggie, Corey, Kailee, and Michael. Joe always loved the family gatherings and he was known as the "grill man". He loved hunting and spending time in the woods with his kids, family, and friends. Taking family trips was an important part of his life. Joe had many friends and business associates in his life, and he was always so grateful for all of them. He had a heart of gold and was always there for those who needed him. He was a hard-working man, his entire life and provided everything his family needed. He was a "shirt off his back" kind of man, right until the end. He will be sadly and forever missed. A special thank you to Kris from Saint Joseph Home Health. Friends and family may visit 4-7PM Friday April 4, 2025 at Birmingham Funeral Home 438 Main Street Old Town, ME where a funeral service will be conducted 11AM Saturday with Fr.
