Obituary

Old Town - Jeanette M. Seymour, 80, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family March 8, 2017, at a Bangor health care facility. Jeanette was a wonderful care taker, loved by many and will be greatly missed. She was known as being "Golden" at all times. She loved her ice cream. She was an active member of the Full Gospel Assembly church in Lagrange. Loved to go fishing and the outdoors, her flower gardens and even the skunks in her yard. She is survived by six children: daughter, Nancy Treadwell (Jerry); son, Teddy Treadwell (Tammy); daughter, Louise Collins (Grady); daughter, Kathy Treadwell; son, David O'Clair; son, Richard O'Clair; 7 grandchildren, Jan, Timothy, Mikie, Sarah, DJ, Derek and Nicole; 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Archie Jipson; and three sisters, Linda Shaffer, Sylvia Ouellette and Sandy Thibeault. She was known as "aunt net" to several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by many cousins and her loving friend and roommate, Anita. She was predeceased by brother, Hartwell Jipson; grandson, Billy Guthzeit; mother, Lucy Tash; and brother, Kitty Jipson. A memorial service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main St., Old Town. Spring interment at Hillcrest Cemetery, Lagrange. The family wishes to thank all the nurses and staff at Westgate Manor for the wonderful care and compassion shown to Jeanette.
