Old Town - James "Jimmy" Winter, 68, passed away on January 10, 2025, at his home. Jimmy was born in Bangor on December 11, 1956, to Rose (Dubay) Winter Simpkins and Fredrick Winter of Old Town.

Jimmy attended Old Town High School, graduating in 1975. He also attended EMVTI, graduating in the plumbing and heating profession. He continued working within this field most of his life. He had a passion for the outdoors and was an avid sportsman enjoying hunting and fishing whenever he could.

Jimmy was predeceased by his parents; stepfather, Warren Simpkins; and several aunts and uncles. He is survived by his sister, Diane Winter of Old Town; son, Lucas Winter (Veronica) of Old Town; grandchildren, Lynsie, Rosalie and Olivia Winter; his stepdaughter, Karen (David) Saucier and their children, Jordan and Desmond; along with several cousins.

At Jimmy's request, there will be no service. Contributions in Jimmy's memory may be made to a charity of their choice.
