Milford - James W. Sherburne, Jr., 74, died October 17, 2019 at a local hospital. He was born March 6, 1945 in Bath a son of James W Sr. and Cora F (Cressey) Sherburne. Skip worked at the Old Town mills for many years. He enjoyed his Monday morning coffee at Tim Horton's, time at home playing games and animals. He is survived by his wife Alice (Betit) Sherburne; daughter Peri Lynn Sherburne of Lewiston; step children Gary Wike of OH and Kari Hunt of Bangor; several grandchildren including special grandson Abben of New Orleans; sister Connie Suarez of Portland; half sister Clemma Nichols of Rumford; former sister-in-law Jeannine Quinn of Hartford. He was predeceased by his first wife Saundra Sherburne in 2011 and brother-in-law Michael Raymond. At his request there will be no formal funeral services.
