Gary L. McLaughlin, 83, passed away peacefully at home on April 8, 2026.

Born on October 31, 1942, in Milford, Maine, Gary was the son of Floyd and Goldie McLaughlin. He spent most of his life in Milford alongside his beloved wife of nearly 50 years, Paulette. Throughout his working years, he was employed at Owen Industries in Old Town and later at the University of Maine in Orono.

Gary will be deeply missed by his family and friends, especially his son, Herbie Badger and his grandchildren Kyra, Maxwell, and Kailyn.

He now reunites with his beloved wife, Paulette, who was truly the love of his life.

Gary will be remembered for his gentle nature, kind heart, and the warmth he brought to those around him.

A graveside service will be held at Milford Cemetery on July 10 at 1:00 p.m. In accordance with his wishes, Gary will be laid to rest beside Paulette. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend.
