Gail Scammon was born on May 8th, 1936, in Prentiss Plantation, Maine and left this world after 89 years on July 21st, 2025. Gail was a renowned teacher in Old Town and served her community educating and enriching students' lives for over 35 years. She is survived by her daughters Christy Perkins and Michelle Scammon as well as grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many loved ones. Per the family's request, no formal services will take place. Additionally, they ask that in lieu of flowers, please donate to the Animal Orphanage of Old Town, 71 Airport Rd, Old Town, ME 04468, in Gail's name.
