OLD TOWN- Elmer L. Howard Jr, 78, passed away April 27th, 2025. Born August 20th, 1946, the son of Elmer Howard and Annie Howard. Elmer was predeceased by his sister, Dorothy Howard. He is survived by his loving wife, Frances Howard; two sisters, Elsie Stone and her husband Roger, and Louise Wickett. He leaves behind his children, Darlene Smith, Doreen Clark and her husband Bill, Kimberly Mishou and her husband Tim, Ricky Howard and his wife Lori, Kim Lee, Allen Howard, and Cheryl Garcia. Elmer was a proud grandfather and great grandfather to many. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, a stepson Wayne Havey, and a good friend Dan Lagere. Elmer had a passion for working on lawn mowers, camping, fishing, and side-by-siding. He loved sitting outside, waving to everyone, and watching the squirrels and birds. His kind spirit and friendly wave will be missed by all who knew him. A funeral service will be held at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main Street, Old Town, Maine, 04468, on May 15th, 2025, at 11am, with a burial following the service at Lawndale Cemetery.
