Edgar
Leblanc
Mar 11, 1950 — May 7, 2026
Edgar Everett LeBlanc, Sr. MILFORD – Edgar E. “Ed” LeBlanc, Sr., 76, passed away peacefully following a brief illness on May 7, 2026, in Zephyrhills, Florida, where he had been residing. He was born March 11, 1950, in Old Town, the beloved son of David and Eva (Nevells) LeBlanc.
Ed was a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend whose greatest joy in life was the time he spent with those he loved. Known for his warm heart, steady presence, and quiet sense of humor, Ed created countless memories with family and friends that will be treasured forever.
An avid outdoorsman, Ed found happiness fishing, camping, golfing, gardening, and woodworking. He especially enjoyed attending antique automobile shows, proudly displaying his own classic cars and cherished Army jeep. Whether gathered around a cribbage board or engaged in a spirited game of dominos, Ed loved friendly competition and the companionship that came with it.
Following retirement, Ed embraced his love of travel and adventure. He proudly visited all 50 states, traveled to Italy and Spain, and enjoyed many Caribbean cruises alongside family and close friends. Through all of life’s journeys, his love for the ocean remained constant and brought him peace and joy throughout the years.
Ed graduated from Old Town High School with the Class of 1972. Over the years, he worked at Striar Textile in Orono while also operating his own business, Ed LeBlanc and Son Heating. He later served as a manager at Crowe Rope in Belfast before retiring from Webber Oil Company (Roy Brother’s Old Town), where he worked for more than 20 years as a respected Master Technician.
He will be deeply missed by his three children, Michele Boucher and her husband Rodney, Ed LeBlanc and his wife Robin, and Bobbi Jo LeBlanc Ricker; his six grandchildren, Jaimie Nolan, Nicole and Shawn Sommers, Nicholas and Becky Ricker, Tyler and Jordan LeBlanc, Bradley and Ashley LeBlanc, and Devon and Rene Ricker; and his 14 great-grandchildren, including two sets of twins, Brayden, Myles, Alexzander, Olivia, Ellieanne, Maddox, Brooklynne, Eli, Carter, Violet, Matthew, Noah, Blake, and Theodore.
He is also survived by his siblings, David and Carol LeBlanc, Billie Mullin, and Bonnie and Donnie Sullivan, along with many beloved nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Ed was predeceased by his brother, Richard Nevells; his sister, Ida Jackson; and his special brother-in-law, Thomas Mullin.
A graveside service at Milford Cemetery will be announced at a later date.
Though deeply missed, Ed’s love for family, his adventurous spirit, and the many stories and memories he leaves behind will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
