Doreen W. DeRoche

OLD TOWN—Doreen W. DeRoche, 85, died peacefully September 10, 2021 at an Orono health care facility. She was born February 16, 1936 in Old Town. Doreen was employed for over 30 years at the Orono Nursing Home. She enjoyed decorating and celebrating holidays. She is survived by son Tony DeRoche and his wife June; grandson Dylan DeRoche; 2 brothers Ray Grant and his companion Sue MacDonald, Dennis Grant and his wife Roseanne; sister Claudette Haaggensen; and many special friends at Penobscot Terrace. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph DeRoche, daughter Kim DeRoche, her mother Gertrude Grant, and brother Kenneth Grant. Family and friends may gather 1-2PM Wednesday at the Birmingham Funeral Home 438 Main St Old Town. Burial will be private at Evergreen Cemetery, Bradley.
