Donna Marie Simon, 70, of Old Town, passed away peacefully, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of love. She was born in Old Town on July 22, 1955, a daughter of Phillip and Theresa (Levesque) Woods. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Ruth Francis; and her nephews, Phillip and Shawn Randall. Donna is survived by her devoted husband, David; her beloved son, Jessy Simon-Armstrong; three brothers, David Woods, Michael Woods, and Steven Woods; and her sister Linda Avery; sister-in-law Sue Sapiel and brother-in-law Daniel Simon. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who will carry her memory in their hearts. Donna treasured the many friendships she built throughout her life, especially her dear friend, Debra Hammond, and her loving campground family. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the compassionate caregivers at Stillwater Healthcare and Northern Light Hospice for the care and kindness shown during her final days. A funeral service will be held at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main Street, Old Town, ME 04468, on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. with visiting hours to follow from 12:30—2:30pm. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Old Town. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her
