Greenbush – David E. Grosekemper, 67, started on his celestial journey on April 11, 2023, with his close family and friends by his side. David entered this world on December 29, 1955, in San Diego, California, the son of James and Patricia (Snyder) Grosekemper.
David spent most of his life in California, migrating across the United States to Maine 15 years ago. David was a locksmith by trade and thoroughly enjoyed his passion. He took great joy changing locks and rekeying them for Mary and the girls and sometimes assisting local law enforcement to get into homes for them. David loved space, from the moment Space X started pouring concrete pads, to watching live launches, and he always had something space related on the television. His second passion was camping with Mary, just hooking up the camper and going wherever the road took them. He was an avid gun enthusiast and also was a proud American.
David is survived by his significant other Mary Noyes and her daughters, Angela Johnson and her husband Mark and Amy McGuire and her husband Dale and their children; his sister, Sue Grosekemper; his lifelong friend, Mark Maine. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Doug Grosekemper.
The family wishes to thank Gentiva hospice for their compassionate care and friendship during David's time on hospice.
Honoring David's wishes there will be no formal services.
