Obituary

Clementine Marion Field OLD TOWN — Clementine Marion Field, 96, passed peacefully into eternal rest on May 21, 2026, at a Bangor nursing home. Born on March 15, 1930, in Old Town, she was the beloved daughter of Amos and Beatrice Robichaud. For nearly a century, Clementine lived a life defined by love, devotion, and unwavering dedication to her family. Above all else, she cherished her role as a wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She took immense pride in caring for those she loved, finding joy in preparing home-cooked meals, keeping a welcoming home, and ensuring her family always felt cared for and supported. Her greatest accomplishment was the family she nurtured with patience, kindness, and unconditional love. Clementine shared a beautiful marriage with her beloved husband, Harold, for 64 years. Their partnership was one of deep devotion, friendship, and shared interests. She was faithfully by Harold's side until his passing in 2011. Together they enjoyed crafting and creating. Harold, a skilled finish carpenter, often built projects for Clementine, who delighted in adding her own creative touch and bringing their shared visions to life. The couple spent many happy years in Florida, where they became active members of their local community and formed lasting friendships. Whether cheering on her favorite baseball team, spending time with family, or working on a craft project, Clementine found joy in life's simple pleasures and treasured every moment with those she loved. Those who knew Clementine will remember her gentle spirit, strong work ethic, and the warmth she brought into every room. Her love was expressed not through grand gestures, but through daily acts of kindness—a meal prepared with care, a listening ear, a comforting hug, and the steady presence that made her family feel safe and loved. Her legacy lives on in the generations she helped shape and the countless memories she created. She is survived her three daughters Sandra, Paula (Bob Howe) and Deborah; grandchildren Lisa Brochu (Todd), Suzette Johnston (Jason), Brandon Crocker (Jess), Aaron Crocker (Lexie), Joshua Field and Monica Berridge; 11 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Harold; her son, Ralph Field; her grandson, Erik Crocker; and her nine brothers and sisters. A graveside service honoring both Harold and Clementine will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Lawndale Cemetery in Old Town. Though her family's hearts are saddened by her passing, they take comfort in knowing that Clementine's life was rich with love, family, and purpose. She leaves behind a legacy of devotion, strength, and kindness that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her love remains woven into the fabric of her family and will be carried forward for generations to come.
