Obituary

OLD TOWN - Charlotte L. Fish, 91, died peacefully May 20, 2022, at a local hospital. She was born April 8, 1931, in Caribou, a daughter of George D and Hazel I. (McIntosh) Mason. Charlotte was a talented artist in various forms. As a painter, she used various mediums including oil, charcoal, and pastels to create portrait and landscape pieces. She also liked music and played the piano and guitar. She enjoyed back road traveling, camping, and coastal trips. Charlotte took pleasure working in her garden and ice skating, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and having cookouts. She is survived by five children, Karen Zych and husband, Jim, of FL, Dawna St. Louis and wife, Debbie, of NH, Jenise Soucy and husband, Alain, of Howland, Shannon Fish of Dedham, and Traci McClarie and her husband, Pete, of Winslow; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Madeline Sargent; brother, George Mason and wife, Joan, of Edinburg. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Alan Fish in 2007; grandson, Christopher St. Louis; brother, Robert Mason; and sisters, Dorothy Kerr and Marian Miles. A memorial service will be conducted 1 p.m. Friday, June 10, 2022, at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main Street, where friends and family will gather from 12 p.m. until time of service. Burial will follow at Lawndale Cemetery, Old Town. Memorial contributions may be made to the Old Town Animal Orphanage, P.O. Box 565, Orono, ME 04473.
