Bangor - Carlene Johnson Sage, 80, passed away on September 11, 2019. Carlene is the daughter of Carlyle and Natalie Johnson, born on May 25, 1939. She passed peacefully at the family camp, her favorite spot, on Schoodic Lake with her family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Gary, and their son Chadwick. She leaves behind her brother Colonel Calvin R. Johnson, her daughters Pamela Sage and Leah Germon as well as many cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren. Carlene led a full life. She was a graduate of UMO with a degree in teaching. Later in life she and her husband undertook the running of a variety of businesses. Her greatest joy was being a hostess to her children and their families and friends. She was an avid golfer with a few holes in one under her belt. She enjoyed painting pictures, many of which are hanging in her grandchildren's homes. A memorial service will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Solstice Independent Living on 922 Ohio St. Bangor in the chapel.
