Alton - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Bonnie, who passed away unexpectedly on January 30th, 2025. Bonnie touched the lives of all who knew her with kindness, warmth, and an unwavering spirit of love. To meet her was to know joy—to be embraced by her laughter, her free spirit, and the genuine kindness that she so effortlessly shared.
Bonnie loved life. She loved her animals, concerts, butterflies, and nature. She had a way of making everyone feel special, as if they were the most important person in the world. Whether through a simple smile or a listening ear, she left an imprint on every heart she encountered. She absolutely adored animals, always looking to take care of ones that needed help the most. This was also true for her family, as her passion was to take care of the people around her.
Born in Cambridge to the late James MacCabe and Helen (Wraga). Loving mother of her son Timothy Reardon and his partner Kim, and her daughter Vanessa Reardon. Adored grandmother of Vincent and Grace Reardon. and Beloved sister of Wayne MacCabe, Janet Trombley (MacCabe) and her husband Charles, Scott MacCabe, Karen Tsalah and her husband Moshe, and the late Laurene Sindoni (MacCabe) and Gary MacCabe. Cherished aunt of Wayne M. MacCabe, Kyle MacCabe, Charlie J. Sindoni, Nicole Sindoni, Amanda MacCabe, Nicholas Trombley, Elizaebth Trombley, and James MacCabe Tsalah. She is also survived by Tim Reardon Sr and her longtime friends Jesse Michaud and Dan Saunders.
She was a daughter, a mother, a sister, a friend—but above all, she was a light in our lives. Though our hearts ache in her absence, we find comfort in the love she left behind, knowing that her spirit will continue to shine through the countless lives she touched.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a visitation in Saint John's Church, 2254 Mass Ave, North Cambridge, on Wednesday, February 12th from 9:30-10:30am. Her Funeral mass will be celebrated in the church at 11am, Burial to follow in Mount Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
