Obituary

Beverly Ann Swenson OLD TOWN—Beverly Ann Swenson, 80, died peacefully with family by her side. She was born July 31, 1944 in Portland a daughter of Elbridge and Leona (Belanger) Peterson. Beverly was a strong woman of faith, a faithful communicant of Parish of the Resurrection and had fully initiated as a Third Order Member of the Carmelites. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society. She lived her life with unwavering faith and conviction and cared deeply for others, many times putting their needs before her own. She was always involved in her children and grandchildren's activities. She was an avid reader. She is survived by three sons Butch Babin and his girl friend Sue Drake of Hermon, Craig Babin and his wife Lea of Milford, and Stephen Babin and his wife Sandy of Ohio; 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren sister Janice Fournier, and a special friend Jane Drew. She was predeceased by her husband Michael T. Swenson in 2015. A Mass of Christian will be celebrated 10AM Friday January 17, 2025 at Parish of The Resurrection, Holy Family Church, 429 Main St Old Town. Immediately following the funeral mass, all are invited to the parish hall for a light luncheon and continued fellowship. Spring burial will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Bangor.
