Old Town - Betty went home to be with her parents, Hilbert and Matilda Anderson, on April 8, 2024, after an extended illness. She was also preceded by her sisters, Grace Cote, Annie Richards, Phyllis Doucette, Shirley LaBree, and Paulette McLaughlin; and brothers, Hilbert Anderson Jr. and Oliver Anderson. Surviving is her sister, Sheila Anderson Thornton; brother, Fay and his wife, Sue Anderson; and her special sister, Edna Bryant, who was by her side through thick and thin for so many years. Which couldn't have happened without her nephew, Stanley Bryant. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Betty had a special place in her heart for Levi Bell, who she raised as a son with his brother, Robert, and their mother, Brenda. Betty loved her huge family they were very close talking on the phone daily with each sister. They camped and picnicked together arriving and departing in a long caravan regularly. There will be a committal in the spring at Milford Cemetery. The date will be announced when determined.
