Old Town - Barbara A. Dow, 79, died August 26, 2019 at a Bangor hospital. She was born February 11, 1940 in Milford a daughter of Cecil and Beulah (Treadwell) Eldridge. Barbara worked at Owens-Illinois for many years. Family was important to her and she enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren. She loved shopping and playing Bingo. She was a past member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by 2 sons, Michael Dow and wife, Teri, of St. Augustine, FL, and Linwood Dow and wife, Ranee, of West Old Town; grandchildren, Kerri, Micki and Brandon; step-grandchildren, Michael O'Connor and James "Jimmy" O'Connor; great-grandchildren, LaKeisha, Jade, Kendahl, Chloe, Naliya and Dominick; and special friends Mike Johndro and Berle Bartlett and BJ. She was predeceased by her husband of almost 50 years Herbert Dow in 2017, a daughter-in-law Teresa Dow, grandchildren Erica Dow and Gregory Dow. Private burial will be for family only.
