Obituary

Levant- Armand J. Bouchard Sr., 82, passed away peacefully at home on June 6, 2026, surrounded by his loving family, following a courageous battle with dementia. He was born in Caribou, ME. June 8th, 1943, to Raoul Bouchard and Sylvia Fisher. He married his one true love, Evelyna Grant, on February 22, 1964, in Old Town, ME. They settled in Greenfield, ME where they raised their family. Armand was involved with the local snowmobile club, and The Airline ATV Riders. Armand worked for Old Town Shoe in Old Town, ME and American Concrete in Veazie, ME. Armand very much enjoyed sitting down for a good breakfast and then hitting the trails with his friends from the Airline ATV club. He had a love of snowmobiling, puttering around the garage while listening to Willie's Roadhouse and embarking on treasure hunting adventures with his wife. He was an avid coin collector and spent countless hours sorting and documenting his finds. But there was no greater joy for Armand than spending time with his family whom he doted on and loved with all his heart. Armand is survived by his wife, Evelyna (Evelyn) Bouchard, his daughter Hilda Curtis of Sangerville, ME, his son Armand (Arnie) Bouchard Jr and his wife Sara (Marsh) Bouchard of Levant, ME, his granddaughters Kayla Curtis of Santa Maria, California and Brianna Curtis of Chester, ME, grandsons Todd Bouchard and his wife Natasha of Eddington, ME, T.J. Bouchard and his fiancé Melissa of Hampden, ME and three beautiful great grandchildren. Armand was predeceased by his father, Raoul Bouchard, his mother Sylvia (Fisher) Bouchard and his brothers Romeo Bouchard and Richard Bouchard and his beloved dog Andy. The family would like to thank the home care team from Beacon Hospice. Kylie, Savannah, Mary, Danielle and Lisa. Your patience, care and compassion for Armand went far beyond anything we could have asked for. You are all truly angels on earth. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for walking this journey with us. A funeral will be held at Birmingham Funeral home on Friday, June 12th, with a visitation starting at 11 and a service beginning at noon.
