Arlene M. Treadwell Grant

OLD TOWN—Arlene M. Treadwell Grant, 98, died peacefully April 4, 2021 at an Orono health care facility. She was born July 3, 1922 in St. Albans a daughter of Charles and Bernice (Leadbetter) Thompson.

She loved to be a seamstress. She found joy in going for drives, taking her friends to run errands and going out to eat.

She is survived by two children Wanda Grenier and her husband George and Brian Treadwell and his wife Cheryl; grandchildren Joy Getchell, Jill Noyes, Robert Grenier, Denice Smith and Derek Treadwell; great grandchildren Nycole Grenier, Noelle Grenier, Ryan Getchell, Lance Getchell, Adam Noyes, McKenna Smith, and Kobe Smith; sister Thea Chapman and her husband Edward, a very special friend Myrtle Shirland; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased her husband Fred Treadwell in 1954, sister Joyce Wiers, and great grandson Corey Grenier.

A graveside service at the Milford Cemetery will be announced at a later date.
