Ann Marie Saucier Gaudet

January 2, 1962 – September 14, 2026

Ann Marie Saucier Gaudet, affectionately known as “Annie,” age 64, of Old Town, Maine,

passed peacefully at home on September 14, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family and loved ones, following a hard fought battle with cancer.

Ann was born in Southington, Connecticut, to Irene Mary Theriault and Paul Boutin Sr. She graduated from Old Town High School in 1980 and dedicated much of her life to caring for and helping others.

Ann began her career as a CNA at Orono Commons before continuing her work in the medical field as a medical secretary. Throughout the years, she worked on the 6th floor at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center, at Cancer Care of Maine in Brewer, and at PCHC – Helen Hunt Health Center Walk-In Care. In 2019, Ann moved to Florida, where she continued doing the work she loved at Florida Cancer Specialists. In September 2023, she returned home to Maine to be closer to her beloved son, her daughter-in-law, her soon-to-arrive granddaughter, and her extended family.

Above all else, Ann cherished being a mother. She welcomed her son, Ethan Gaudet, into the  world in January 1995, being Ethan’s mom was her greatest and most cherished blessing. Her love for her family was at the center of her life, and she treasured every opportunity to spend time with the people she loved.  Ann found joy in the simple and beautiful moments of life. She loved playing cards with her siblings, spending time with her granddaughters, attending concerts at the Bangor Waterfront, and taking photographs. She had a special love for sea turtles, Tigger, the beach, and the beauty of Maine’s fall foliage. She was someone who naturally cared for others, always finding  ways to offer kindness, comfort, and love.

Ann leaves behind her beloved son, Ethan Gaudet and his fiancé, Tonya Carlson, and her cherished granddaughters, Juniper Joy Gaudet and Magnolia May Gaudet, who brought immense joy and love into her life. Ann is also survived by her siblings: Alfonse Saucier and Judy Colaninno; Rachel Saucier and Linda Abair; Robert Saucier and wife Rita Saucier; Sandra Saucier; Roger Saucier and wife Sandy Saucier; Richard Saucier; Luann Biskupiak; John Saucier and wife Teri Saucier; Sharon Dupuis; Pauline Ouellette; and Paul Boutin and wife Lisa Boutin. Ann is survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom held a special place in her heart. Ann shared a very special bond with her two great-nieces, Libby Saucier and Jamielu Biskupiak. Some of her happiest moments were spent with them, whether baking and cooking together, shopping, or enjoying a movie. These special times created cherished memories that will forever be treasured by those who knew and loved her. Ann leaves behind her lifelong best friend, Karen Madden and her husband, Scott Madden, whose friendship was a treasured part of Ann’s life. Ann leaves behind many friends with memories to last a lifetime.  Ann’s beloved golden doodle, Kirby, was a constant source of companionship, comfort, and love.

Ann was predeceased by her mother, Irene Mary St. Peter, as well as her Aunt Louise Charette and Uncle Joe Therriault.

Though Ann’s life was far too short, the love she gave so freely will continue through the family and friends who were blessed to know her. Her laughter, kindness, caring spirit, and love for her family will be deeply missed. She leaves behind a lifetime of memories and a legacy of love that will live on in her son, her granddaughters, her siblings, her extended family, and all who called  her friend.

Rest peacefully, Annie. You were deeply loved, and you will be forever missed.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday October 31, 2026 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Birmingham Funeral Home, 438 Main Street Old Town, Maine. A graveside service will follow at Lawndale Cemetery in Old Town at 2:30 p.m
