Alice Elizabeth (Betit) Sherburne
MILFORD—Alice E. Sherburne, 80, died unexpectedly April 1, 2025 at a local hospital. She was born July 23, 1944 in Augusta, Maine a daughter of Lionel and Marion (Letendre) Petit.
She attended Cony High School. Over the years she has been a homemaker, worked as a CNA in home health services, was a sample display person at Sam's Club, and volunteered at the James Bean School in Sidney and her church. She was an avid reader and enjoyed doing genealogy with her friend Sami.
She is survived by hewr children John Dudley of Prentiss, Maine, Angelina Bourasaw of Alaska, Theresa "Teri" Johnston of Minnesota, Wendy Adams of Arkansas and Gary Wike of Ohio; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sister Theresa Savage of Sidney, Maine and RaeJean Beane of Moscow, Maine; special friends "Sami" Helen Hill, Jes McAlpine, and Ryan King.
She was predeceased by husband Alan Wike and James Sherburne, son David Dudley and daughter Kari Wike Hunt.
A graveside service will be conducted at Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Mount Vernon Road, Augusta, in June.
